Child Care
We play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. We have established child care centres to ensure that children receive the care, education, shelter, clothing and nutrition they need during their formative years.
Women Empowerment
Women empowerment is the need of the hour as it helps the entire family of each beneficiary to become whole and to climb through the socio economic ladder. Most of the beneficiaries belong to very poor marginalized below poverty. We work on the development of the women of our society.
Youth Development
Unemployment is on the rise for the last 3 years after the recession India is going through after COVID-19 since 2019. ATSWA plays a vital role in providing employable skill trainings on Retail management, market demand based trainings, awareness on various issues faced by the youth.
Exhibiting Ability in Disability
We empower individuals with disabilities through our comprehensive intervention programs. Our commitment extends to offering nutritious food, monthly dry rations, safe shelter, and essential assistive devices, including crutches, callipers, wheelchairs, CP chairs, and more, to ensure safe mobility.
Road Safety Awareness
oad safety awareness and training programs was done through « Together for Safer Roads in the State of Tamil Nadu » project with the generous support of PSA Fondation (Germany) through Habitat for Humanity – India. Motto of the project is to have safer roads in Tamil Nadu.
Disaster Response & Risk Reduction Project
Every year 52 villages in Pazhaverkadu area (Pulicat) is affected by anyone of the natural disasters cyclone, heavy rainfall, fire etc.and so on. ATSWA being pioneers in reaching the affected people since 2005 have initiated a Disaster Response & Risk Reduction program since 2022.
Eco Friendly Environment
ATSWA is creators of eco-friendly environment. It drives all its target communities to have safe better place to live and for their future generations. We have created lasting impressions of changes in environment, weather conditions, farming, ripple effects in seasonal changes.
Vocational Skill Training
Three ATSWA Vocational Training centres function at Redhills, Thirumullaivoyal of Chennai district of Tamil Nadu state and Sathyvedu village of Tirupathi district of Andhra Pradesh, we provide employable skill trainings.
Senior Citizens Care
ATSWA is very keen to take care of elders who are shown less love by children, community due to job, migration from village to cities, health problems and so on. Elders who live in road pavements are identified and given break-fast, lunch & dinner, cloths, mats, cots, bedsheets, pillows, medical/medicinal care, helped to be admitted in nearby Elder Care Homes.
